OVERDRAFT PROTECTION & BOUNCE SAFE


Unforeseen circumstances happen to us all... and usually at the wrong time! You make an honest mistake in your checkbook and it leaves you with a "little short" to cover your outstanding check. Telco will take two options to protect you from costly overdraft fees and the embarrassment of NSF returned checks.

Telco has two overdraft protection options.

Automatic Overdraft Protection - If you do not have the funds in your primary checking account to cover the check, Telco will automatically look in your primary savings account for the available funds. If you have the funds available, we will transfer those funds at no extra charge to cover the draft. If the funds are not available you may qualify for Bounce Safe.

Bounce Safe Overdraft Courtesy - With Bounce Safe we may pay an item presented for payment against your Telco checking account even if it causes the account to become overdrawn. While it is not an invitation to overdraw you account, it is an added layer of safety should you accidentally write checks for more than you have in your account, or an inadvertent error causes the account to become overdrawn. For a small $26 fee, Bounce Safe will cover the check and protect you from merchant returned check charges and/or collection agency fees.
